Appalachian LCC Activity Update to National Park Service
Coordinator Jean Brennan gave a webinar presentation on recent accomplishments and the future direction of the Appalachian LCC to the National Park Service (NPS) Natural Areas Team on October 18, 2012.
The presentation details how the Cooperative has developed top science needs in the regions and is funding key conservation projects to address these research needs. Jean also discussed the launching and use of the new community web portal as well as the development of the 5-year Work Plan. This talk was a follow up to an original briefing given to the NPS in January 2011.
